CONCESSIVE CLAUSES

Concessive clauses are clauses introduced with the word ‘although’.

This is often introduced with the Latin word ‘quamquam’ followed by an indicative verb.

E.g. 'quamquam puer malus est, puellae eum amant’ = Although the boy is bad, the girls love him.
