In a remarkable discovery from Egypt, archaeologists have uncovered a marble bust that could potentially depict Cleopatra VII, the famed last queen of the Ptolemaic dynasty. The Discovery

Martinez believes the bust, which features a diadem (a type of crown) commonly associated with royalty, could represent Cleopatra herself.

They argue that the bust’s Roman artistic style does not align with traditional Egyptian depictions of Cleopatra. Among the discoveries are 337 coins featuring Cleopatra’s likeness, limestone statues, ceremonial oil lamps, and even a bronze ring.
